24Hearts was started as a heartfelt and instinctive response to the tragedy at Grenfell Tower, with the aim of spreading love and representing the support and unity of the local community. The original idea was to create 24 hearts for the 24 floors in the tower, but the idea spread with people coming together over the summer of 2017 to create hundreds of hearts.
Since then we have collaborated with Notting Hill Carnival Pioneers, KCS Carnival Band, Full of Life, Henry Dickens Community Centre, Latymer Community Centre, Al Manar Mosque, The Pepperpot Centre, The Metropolitan Police, The Notting Hill Methodist Church, Carnival Village Trust, Westway Trust, the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation, the Killarney Chamber of Commerce, Kerry County Council and local primary schools to deliver high quality Comeunity Arts projects in and around North Kensington and beyond.
